DESCRIPTION:The Meeting will feature an in-depth slide show presentation and discussion on the issue of economic inequality and what can be done to address it. The focus will be on Raise Up Massachusetts (RUM)\, which is building strong coalitions and campaigns to win big victories on these isssues. Raise-Up Massachusetts (RUM) led the victorious campaigns to increase the Mass. minimum wage to $11 an hour and to win the right to paid sick days for Mass. workers.
