On Thursday June 15, 2023, the MDTC will hold its annual caucus to elect delegates to the Massachusetts Democratic Party State Convention to be held at the Tsongas Center UMASS Lowell on Saturday, September 23. The caucus will take place from 6:30 PM to 8:00 pm in the public meeting room of the Mattapoisett Fire Station, 62 County Road. All Mattapoisett residents registered as Democrats as of May 23, 2023 are encouraged to participate in the caucus. Registered voters do not have to be members of the Town Committee to be eligible to attend the convention.

Attending a state convention is a way to meet people from across the Commonwealth who share similar political views with you. Delegates will have opportunities to meet and hear from many of our elected state officials as well as those who are organizers and officials of our state party.
