I’d like to invite you to a town hall conversation in New Bedford about the opioid epidemic with Setti Warren.
Setti Warren is the Mayor of Newton and a candidate for Massachusetts governor. As you know, the opioid epidemic remains a massive and growing crisis. Everyday, 5 people suffer a fatal overdose, over 50 people suffer non-fatal overdoses, and about 70 people become addicted to opioids across Massachusetts. An estimated quarter of a million people are living with an addiction to prescription or synthetic opioids in Massachusetts right now.
Mayor Warren wants to hear from you. Whether you are an expert or someone affected by the crisis, the stakes are too high. We can’t afford to leave any good ideas off the table.
