The Mattapoisett Democratic Town Committee supports the appointment of an individual whose expertise and experience will strengthen the Board\u2019s ability to protect and promote the health of our community.<br \/>\nWe urge all residents to attend this meeting and demonstrate the importance of community engagement in local decision-making.<br \/>\n\u2022 The Board of Health plays a vital role in:<br \/>\n\u2022 Overseeing waste management and recycling services<br \/>\n\u2022 Supervising our Public Health Nurse, who supports residents\u2019 well-being and vaccination clinics<br \/>\n\u2022 Reviewing and approving septic system plans for new and existing properties<\/p>\n<p>Our public health depends on informed, active participation.
