South Coast Democratic Town Committees to Host Screening of Robert Reich Documentary<\/b><\/p>\n

The Democratic Town Committees of <\/span>Acushnet, Fairhaven, Mattapoisett, and Rochester<\/b> as well as the <\/span>Plymouth County Democratic League <\/b>will host a special screening of <\/span>The Last Class<\/span><\/i>, a documentary featuring former U.S. Secretary of Labor and economist <\/span>Robert Reich<\/b>, on <\/span>Wednesday, April 15 at 6:30 PM<\/b> at the <\/span>AMC Theater in Dartmouth<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The film follows Reich during his final semester teaching at UC Berkeley, weaving together personal reflections with a timely examination of economic inequality, democracy, and the importance of civic engagement. <\/span>The Last Class<\/span><\/i> has been praised for its thoughtful and accessible exploration of issues facing communities across the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the screening, attendees are invited to continue the conversation at the nearby <\/span>Olive Garden<\/b>, where a set of tables has been reserved for informal discussion. Meals and beverages will be available for individual purchase.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tickets are <\/span>$25 per person<\/b> and must be purchased in advance. Seating is limited. A limited number of <\/span>free tickets are available for students<\/b>; interested students should email <\/span>acushnetdems@gmail.com<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n
