Your Voice Matters: Attend the Board of Health Meeting
There will be a meeting on Thursday, October 30 at 6:00 PM at the Mattapoisett Firehouse to finalize the appointment for the third seat on the Board of Health.
Two residents have submitted letters of interest for this important role. The Mattapoisett Democratic Town Committee supports the appointment of an individual whose expertise and experience will strengthen the Board’s ability to protect and promote the health of our community.
We urge all residents to attend this meeting and demonstrate the importance of community engagement in local decision-making.
• The Board of Health plays a vital role in:
• Overseeing waste management and recycling services
• Supervising our Public Health Nurse, who supports residents’ well-being and vaccination clinics
• Reviewing and approving septic system plans for new and existing properties
